This website is operated by J P Building Services, the trading name of James Doherty, a sole trader, of Rivers Lodge, West Common, Harpenden AL5 2LD.

When you use our enquiry form or contact us, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, postcode, the details of your enquiry and any photo you choose to attach. We do not collect any special category data.

We use your details only to respond to your enquiry, to arrange a site visit, and to prepare and provide a quote. We do not sell your data or share it for marketing.

How we handle enquiry data
When you submit the enquiry form, your message is delivered to us by email and processed by our website provider, Digital Five, and its email delivery provider (Postmark), who deliver and archive the enquiry on our behalf. Digital Five keeps a copy of submitted enquiries in a secure archive so that no enquiry is lost in transit. We keep enquiry data only for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and any resulting work, and our normal business records.
